Who doesn't Google? I am a huge fan of Google, but realize there are other ways to get information. A lot of my research habits depends on what the topic of inquiry is, but generally I begin with Google.
After Google, I check U of L's online databases if I am looking for scholarly articles. A lot of times there are .pdfs of the document already scanned in, which is nice. I have been known to go to a library and enlist the help of the librarian, though. They are really good researchers and can generally find things that I don't know exist.
Sometimes I have to do legal research for my husband. It can be statute work or finding people and where they live. The statutes are way easier because of Lexis-Nexus. Finding people takes a bit of creativity. It can be done, though.
